Glad vs Junior: a flat price or token credits
Both are AI teammates that you mention in Slack. Junior calls itself an AI employee, adds Microsoft Teams, a browser and scheduled work, and bills a monthly budget of credits that follow the AI tokens used. Glad does everyday work across your tools for one flat monthly price with a hard cap.

What does a month cost?
Junior does not publish how many credits a typical job uses, so we cannot put a fair number on a month of work. Here is how each bill is set instead.
Junior: you choose a monthly budget, from $100 up to $20,000 in $100 steps. Each job uses credits for the AI tokens it takes, so a long research job costs more than a short reply. You can add $200 at any time within the month. Its computer, email inbox and browser are not charged.
Glad: you pay $49 a month for 250 tasks on Starter, and each request that uses a tool or makes a document is one task. A larger run with /deep counts as 5 tasks, and Glad asks before it starts one. Talking, approvals and runs that deliver nothing are free. See Glad pricing for every plan.
Where Junior is better today
It works in Microsoft Teams as well as Slack.
It uses a browser: it visits websites, fills in forms and takes screenshots. Glad does not.
It has its own email inbox and sends email from it.
It runs scheduled tasks, such as a report every Monday.
It connects to more apps: 3,000+ against Glad's 1,500+.
Its SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress. Glad has no SOC 2 report yet.
Where Glad is different
A price you know first. One flat price per workspace and a hard cap, starting below Junior's $100 entry budget.
Memory you can edit. Every memory shows where it came from, and you can fix, delete or restore it one by one.
Personal connections. Each person connects their own accounts. A shared connection needs an admin's approval.
Data stored in the EU. GDPR-ready with a DPA on every plan. Junior is hosted on AWS in the US.

Questions
Is Glad cheaper than Junior?
At the entry level, yes: Glad starts at $49 a month for 250 tasks, and Junior's Standard plan starts at $100 a month. Junior does not publish what one job costs in credits, so we cannot compare a month of work task by task. Junior also does work that Glad cannot do today, such as using a browser.
How do Junior credits work?
You pick a monthly budget from $100 to $20,000 in $100 steps. Credits follow the AI tokens Junior uses, so a long job uses more than a short one. You can add $200 at any time within the month. Junior does not charge for its computer, email inbox or browser.
What happens when Glad reaches the monthly limit?
Your admin gets a notice at 80% of the month's tasks. At 100%, Glad still talks in Slack but uses no tools until the next month, an upgrade or a top-up. You are never billed more than your plan.
Does Glad work in Microsoft Teams?
Not yet. Glad works in Slack today, and Microsoft Teams is planned. Junior works in Slack and Teams.
Can Glad use a browser or run scheduled jobs like Junior?
Not yet. Glad works through your connected tools and answers in Slack. Scheduled jobs are planned. If browser work or recurring jobs are the main need, Junior is the better pick today.
Do Glad and Junior train AI models on our data?
No. Glad does not train models on your data, and Junior says the same on its site.
Can we try Glad next to Junior?
Yes. Both can be in the same Slack workspace. The Glad trial has 50 tasks and needs no card, so you can give both the same jobs for a week and compare the answers and the cost.
