Glad vs Lindy: one workspace price or a seat per person

Both are AI assistants that you mention in Slack. Lindy also runs your email inbox and charges per person, with credits for each. Glad does everyday work across your tools for one flat price per workspace, with a hard cap.

What does a month cost for a team of 10?

Take 10 people who each ask for 2 quick jobs a workday, such as "summarize this thread into a Notion page" or "update the deal in HubSpot". That is about 420 jobs in a month of 21 workdays, or 42 for each person.

Glad
$99

420 tasks fit in the Team plan, $99 a month for 600 tasks. No seats, and the price is the same every month.

Lindy
$300 to $1000

10 people take 10 seats. On Plus that is 10 x $29.99 = $299.90. Its pricing page puts an everyday ask at 2 to 250 credits, so 42 asks use 84 to 10,500 credits a person. Plus has 3,000; above that it is Pro, 10 x $99.99 = $999.90.

This example is about quick jobs. A larger Glad run with /deep counts as 5 tasks, and Glad asks before it starts one. Lindy puts deep work at 250 to 1,000 credits. For one person who mostly wants inbox help, Lindy Plus can cost less than a Glad plan. See Glad pricing for every plan.

Where Lindy is better today

  • It manages email inboxes and drafts replies in your voice.

  • It works outside Slack too: in email, iMessage and the web.

  • It runs scheduled routines, such as a morning brief or a Monday report.

  • It can use a browser on the Pro and Max plans. Glad has no browser automation.

  • It connects to any MCP server, and you can pick the AI model.

  • It has SOC 2 Type II, and HIPAA with a signed BAA on Enterprise. Glad has no SOC 2 report yet.

Where Glad is different

  • No seats. One price for the whole workspace. Everyone can ask Glad, and nobody adds a seat by mentioning it.

  • A price you know first. A hard cap per month. Talking with Glad, approvals, and runs that deliver nothing are free.

  • Memory with its source. Every memory shows where it came from, and you can fix, delete or restore it.

  • Governance on every plan. An audit log, approvals and per-person limits, without an enterprise contract. Each person connects their own accounts.

Questions

Is Glad cheaper than Lindy?

For a team, usually. Glad has one price for the whole workspace: $49 a month for 250 tasks, with no seat price. Lindy starts at $29.99 per person a month, and everyone who uses it takes a seat, so 10 people on the Plus plan are $299.90 a month. For one person who wants help with their inbox, Lindy can cost less.

Who counts as a seat in Lindy?

Its pricing page says anyone who uses Lindy takes a seat: people who sign up, join the workspace, or @mention Lindy in Slack. Glad has no seats. Everyone in the workspace can ask it, and the plan sets the number of tasks.

What happens when Glad reaches the monthly limit?

Your admin gets a notice at 80% of the month's tasks. At 100%, Glad still talks in Slack but uses no tools until the next month, an upgrade or a top-up. You are never billed more than your plan. Lindy also pauses instead of billing more.

Can Glad manage my email inbox like Lindy?

Not in the same way. Glad works from Slack: you ask in a thread and it works through the tools you connect. Lindy manages 2 to 5 inboxes by plan and drafts replies in your voice. If the inbox is the main job, Lindy is the better pick today.

Does Glad train AI models on our data?

No. Glad does not train models on your data. Lindy says the same on its site.

Can we try Glad next to Lindy?

Yes. Both can be in the same Slack workspace. The Glad trial has 50 tasks and needs no card, and Lindy gives $50 in credits for 7 days, so you can give both the same jobs for a week and compare.
