Glad vs Viktor: a flat price or credits

Both are AI teammates that you mention in Slack. Viktor does more, including code and apps, and charges in credits that depend on the work. Glad does everyday work across your tools for one flat monthly price with a hard cap.

Last updated 8 October 2026. We make Glad. Viktor facts come from viktor.com, sources below.

The short answer

Choose Glad if

  • You want to know the bill before the month starts.
  • Your team asks for everyday work across its tools: reports, CRM updates, follow-ups, summaries.
  • You want to see and fix what the AI remembers about your team.
  • Each person should connect their own accounts, not share one login.

Choose Viktor if

  • You need the AI to write code, build dashboards or deploy small apps.
  • Your team works in Microsoft Teams.
  • You need scheduled jobs today.
  • Your buyer needs a SOC 2 report.

What does a month cost for a team of 5?

Take 5 people who each ask for 2 quick jobs a workday, such as "summarize this thread into a Notion page" or "update the deal in HubSpot". That is about 210 jobs in a month of 21 workdays.

Glad
$49

210 tasks fit in the Starter plan, $49 a month for 250 tasks. The price is the same every month.

Viktor
$75 to $200

Its pricing page puts a quick task at 100 to 300 credits. 210 jobs use 21,000 to 63,000 credits. That is the $75 plan (30,000 credits) to the $200 plan (80,000 credits), and it changes with the work.

This example is about quick jobs. A larger Glad run with /deep counts as 5 tasks, and Glad asks before it starts one. A full Viktor project is 2,000 to 5,000 credits, but it can also be work that Glad cannot do today, such as building an app. See Glad pricing for every plan.

Where Viktor is better today

  • It writes and runs code on its own cloud computer, and builds dashboards and small apps. Glad does neither yet.

  • It works in Microsoft Teams as well as Slack.

  • It runs scheduled jobs, such as a report every Monday.

  • It connects to more tools: 3,200+ against Glad's 1,500+.

  • It makes decks, video and browser automations, not only messages and files.

  • It has a SOC 2 Type 1 report. Glad has no SOC 2 report yet.

Where Glad is different

  • A price you know first. One flat price per workspace and a hard cap. Talking with Glad, approvals, and runs that deliver nothing are free.

  • Memory you can edit. Every memory shows where it came from, and you can fix or delete it.

  • Personal connections. Each person connects their own accounts. A shared connection needs an admin's approval.

  • Governance on every plan. An audit log, approvals and per-person limits, without an enterprise contract.
