Asana with your other tools

A new date by email, the task moved in Asana

"@Glad Quayside emailed a new delivery date. Change the delivery task in Asana to match." Glad finds the email in your Gmail, reads the date, and moves the task once you approve. See Gmail.

Closed in HubSpot, planned in Asana

"@Glad which hotel deals closed this month, and does each one have an install project?" Glad reads the won deals in HubSpot, checks Asana for a matching project, and lists the ones without. Ask it to start them from your install template, and it shows the new projects on a card first. See HubSpot.

Asana questions

Something else? Write to info@iamglad.ai.

Does Glad integrate with Asana?

Yes. Glad, the AI agent for Slack, connects to your own Asana account and creates, updates, assigns, comments on and completes tasks, and posts project status updates, from any Slack thread.

How is Glad different from Asana for Slack?

Asana's Slack app turns a message into a task, sends project updates to a channel, and summarizes a task when you paste its link. Glad turns a whole list into tasks at once, skips the ones that already exist, and can check Gmail or HubSpot in the same request.

Can I create an Asana task from a Slack message?

Yes. Mention @Glad in the thread and say the project, the owner and the due date. Glad writes the task from the message, links back to the thread, and creates it after your yes.

Can Glad find overdue tasks in Asana?

Yes. Ask by project or by person, and Glad lists the overdue tasks with the owner and how late each one is. Ask it to nudge each owner, and it shows the message on a card and posts it after your yes.

Does Glad ask before it changes Asana?

Yes. Creating, moving, completing or commenting on a task waits for a yes in the thread. Searching and reading projects don't ask.

Whose Asana account does Glad use?

Yours. Each person connects their own Asana account, so a task shows the person who asked as its creator. Sharing one connection with the team needs an admin's approval.

Can Glad post an Asana project status update?

Yes. Say how the project is going, or ask Glad to write the update from the tasks completed this week. It shows the update on a card and posts it after your yes.

What does the Asana integration cost?

There's no add-on. Turning a six-step checklist into tasks is one task for Glad. Starter includes 250 tasks a month for $49, shared by everyone, and the first 50 are free.
