@Glad Harbourside says checkout is failing again. If it's last week's bug, add their report to it.

Looks like it: POR-482 "Checkout times out for cards that need 3-D Secure", In Progress with Mirela. No other open issue mentions checkout.

A customer email, a Linear issue

"@Glad turn Quayside's email about the broken invoice PDF into a Linear issue for the Portal team." Glad reads the email in your Gmail, writes the issue with the customer's words and a link to the email, and files it after your yes. Create tickets from Slack threads shows the whole flow, duplicate check included.

The standup, written from Linear and GitHub

"@Glad what did the Portal team close yesterday, and what's blocked?" Glad reads the cycle in Linear and the merged pull requests in GitHub, and posts the summary in the thread. It only reads, so there's nothing to approve. See Summarize standup updates in Slack.

Glad uses it for your requests and nobody else's.

  3. 03

Mention @Glad in any thread and ask the way you'd ask a colleague

When it wants to change something in Linear, you get a card to approve.

Does Glad integrate with Linear?

Yes. Glad, the AI agent for Slack, connects to your own Linear account and files, updates and comments on issues from any Slack thread, once you approve.

How is Glad different from Linear's own Slack integration?

Linear's Slack app creates issues from a message, keeps the thread in sync, and its @Linear agent files issues and answers questions. Glad files the issue too, and the same request can check HubSpot, Gmail or Notion first, so the issue carries the customer's context.

Can I create a Linear issue from a Slack thread?

Yes. Mention @Glad in the thread and say the team, the priority and who should own it. Glad writes the title and the description from the thread, adds a link back, and files the issue when you approve.

Can Glad create a Linear issue and update HubSpot from the same thread?

Yes. When a customer's bug report also changes their deal, ask for both: "file this as a Portal bug and add a note to the Harbourside deal in HubSpot." Glad shows both changes and makes them after your yes. See [HubSpot](/integrations/hubspot).

Does Glad check for duplicate Linear issues?

Yes, when you ask. Say "check for duplicates first" and Glad searches open issues before it writes a new one, then tells you what it found.

Can Glad update or close Linear issues?

Yes. It changes the status, the assignee, the priority or the labels, and it adds comments. Each change shows on a card and runs after your yes.

Does Glad ask before it changes Linear?

Yes, for every issue it files and every change it makes. Searching, reading an issue and listing a cycle don't ask.

Whose Linear account does Glad use?

Yours. Each person connects their own Linear account, so an issue shows up as filed by the person who asked. Sharing one connection with the team needs an admin's approval.

What does the Linear integration cost?

There is no Linear add-on to buy. Filing one issue from a thread is one task, and Starter covers 250 of them a month for $49, for everyone in the workspace. Your first 50 are free.
