Salesforce AI agent for Slack

Glad is an AI agent for Slack that works in Salesforce. Tell @Glad in the thread what the buyer agreed on the call, and it updates the opportunity through your own Salesforce login.

This week's meetings, with what's open on each

"@Glad which accounts am I meeting this week, and what's open on each?" Glad checks your Google Calendar, pulls the open opportunities and last notes from Salesforce, and lists them in the thread. It only reads, so there's no card to approve. Prepare for meetings in Slack shows what the brief looks like.

The quote from Gmail, the opportunity in Salesforce

"@Glad find the price we sent Oddbird Bakeries in Gmail and put it on their opportunity." Glad searches your Gmail for the quote, then shows the Salesforce change on a card and saves it after your yes. See Gmail.

How it works

How do I connect Salesforce to Glad?

Add to Slack
  1. 01

    Add Glad to Slack

It takes about two minutes, and Glad only sees the channels you invite it to.

  2. 02

    Connect your own Salesforce account

Glad uses it for your requests and nobody else's.

  3. 03

Mention @Glad in any thread and ask the way you'd ask a colleague

When it wants to change something in Salesforce, you get a card to approve.

Salesforce questions

Does Glad integrate with Salesforce?

Yes. Glad, the AI agent for Slack, connects to your own Salesforce login and finds accounts, updates opportunities, logs notes and runs reports from any Slack thread. Changes wait for your approval.

How is Glad different from Salesforce's own Slack integration?

Salesforce's Slack app lets you view and update records from Slack, and on Slack Business+ or Enterprise, Slackbot can create and update them after an approval. Glad does the update from the thread too, and the same request can pull in your other tools first, like the quote in Gmail or the meeting in Google Calendar.

Can I update Salesforce from Slack?

Yes. Say what changed in the thread and Glad finds the record, shows the change on a card, and saves it in Salesforce when you approve.

Does Glad ask before it changes Salesforce records?

Yes. Every new or changed opportunity, account, contact, lead, note or task waits for a yes in the thread. Searches, lookups and reports don't ask.

Can Glad run Salesforce reports?

Yes. Ask for a report by name, or describe what you need, such as "opportunities over $10,000 closing this month", and Glad answers in the thread.

Can Glad log a Slack thread in Salesforce?

Yes. Ask "@Glad log this thread as a note on the Harbourside account" and Glad writes a short note from the thread and adds it after your yes.

Whose Salesforce account does Glad use?

Yours. Each person connects their own Salesforce login, so Glad sees only the records that person can see, and changes show up under their name. Sharing a connection needs an admin's approval.

What does the Salesforce integration cost?

No extra fee: Salesforce comes with every plan. One opportunity update from a thread is one task, and Starter gives the whole workspace 250 of them a month for $49. Your first 50 are free.
